Veuve Clicquot Rich Rosé

€60,99

From the Maker:

"After the phenomenal success of the Rich edition, Veuve Clicquot launches Rich Rosé and thus cultivates fashion, now well established, champagnes that are tasted accompanied by ice cubes.

Between legend and modernity, the famous house has created a series of champagnes sweet enough to be sublimated by the freshness of some ice cubes. Veuve Clicquot Rich Rosé contains 60 grams of sugar per liter; it belongs to the category of sweet champagnes. Its blend, identical to that of Veuve Clicquot Rich, is composed of 45% Pinot Noir, 40% Pinot Meunier and 15% Chardonnay. This exceptional champagne has its pink dress of 12% of red wine that embellish this upscale composition."

About the Maker:

Veuve Clicquot, now one of the largest Champagne Houses, was founded in 1772 by Philippe Clicquot under the label "Clicquot". After establishing the brand throughout Europe, Russia and the United States, Philippe was joined by his son, François Clicquot, at the head of the House in 1798. Seven years later, following his untimely death, François’ young widow, Barbe Ponsardin, took over the family business at just 27 years old. The House would subsequently be renamed in her honor: ‘Veuve Clicquot’ means ‘The Widow Clicquot.’
