Dom Ruinart

Dom Ruinart Rosé 2007

Dom Ruinart are made entirely of Chardonnay Grand Cru from the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims vineyards. Born in great vintages, they come from the best harvests. It is at the heart of the cellars of Maison Ruinart that these prestige bottles are slowly aged, for an average of ten years, and gain in aromatic complexity. In 2007, spring was warm and sunny, and despite a cool, rainy summer, the vines remained unaffected, and the harvest began early, in August. This rosé champagne blends chardonnay (80%) from grand cru vineyards – 75% from Côte des Blancs and 25% from Montagne de Reims – with 20% pinot noir red wine from the only grand cru vineyard in the town of Aÿ.
